The awards season for the film industry has begun, and this year several musicals and plays have been brought to the big screen, including “Hamilton,” “Avenue Q” and “The Lion King,” as well as a number of films. A number of Broadway stars have been nominated for their work over the past year, the Golden Globes announced Wednesday morning.
